Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use www.xpertpackages.com, request a quote, use our AI packaging assistants or contact us, and how we use and share it.

Information we collect

We collect information you give us and information collected automatically:

  • Contact details: name, company, email address, phone number and shipping or billing address.
  • Project details: product type, dimensions, quantities, materials, artwork and files you upload, and notes.
  • Conversations: messages you send to our AI sales and packaging assistants and to our team.
  • Account information if you create a customer account.
  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, referring page and approximate location, collected with cookies and similar technologies.
  • Campaign information: advertising parameters in the page address (such as utm_source or a Google or Meta click ID) and the page where you first arrived. We store these in a first-party cookie for up to 90 days so a quote request can be linked to the campaign that brought you.

How we use information

  • To respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, produce and ship orders, and provide customer support.
  • To operate, secure and improve the website and our AI assistants.
  • To measure website traffic and understand how visitors use the site, and, when advertising measurement is enabled, the performance of our advertising.
  • To send service messages about your quote or order, and marketing messages where permitted (you can opt out at any time).
  • To comply with law and enforce our terms.

AI assistants

Messages you send to our AI assistants are processed by a third-party AI service provider to generate replies, and are stored so our team can follow up on your request. Do not share sensitive personal information in chat. AI replies are informational; prices and specifications are confirmed only on a quote from our sales team.

Cookies, analytics and advertising

We use Google Tag Manager to load measurement tools on our website. The tools active today are Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. They use cookies and similar technologies.

Google Analytics measures visits and how visitors use the site, such as the pages viewed and actions like starting a quote.

Microsoft Clarity captures how you use and interact with our pages, such as clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, the pages you view, and device and browser information. We use it to see usage metrics, heatmaps and session replays that help us find and fix problems and improve the site. Clarity is not loaded on customer account or admin pages. Microsoft processes this data as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement (privacy.microsoft.com/privacystatement); Clarity privacy information is at learn.microsoft.com/clarity.

Advertising tags are not active on our website today. We may use Google Ads conversion tracking and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel when these services are enabled, to measure the results of our ads and to show ads, including on other websites. We will update this policy when they are enabled.

When Google Ads conversion measurement is enabled, and you submit a quote request or give your email address or phone number in chat, we may send a one-way hashed (SHA-256) version of that email address or phone number to Google for conversion measurement (enhanced conversions). We do not send the unhashed values to these tags.

You can control cookies in your browser settings. Once Google Ads or Meta advertising is enabled, you can also opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com and manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook or Instagram settings.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information for money. We share information with service providers that host our website and systems, process AI assistant conversations, send email, process payments, ship orders, and provide analytics services (and advertising services when enabled), and with professional advisers or authorities where required by law.

Your US state privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to access, correct or delete it, and to opt out of targeted advertising or the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as those terms are defined in some state laws.

To make a request, including an opt-out of targeted advertising, email info@xpertpackages.com with the subject "Privacy request". We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Retention and security

We keep personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above, including to maintain records of quotes and orders, and then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed.
